New for the 2009 season is the Iveco tier 3 engine. This engine now has a turbocharger and an aftercooler however retains the mechanically controlled injection pump. This allows the optional use of the Frank W Murphy mechanical engine protection unit as well as the Specialist Instruments electronic panel. We are one of the few companies in the UK to offer both options. With the future introduction of Tier 4 engines all engine protection units will have to be fully electronic.
ALL RST PUMPSETS ARE MANUFACTURED IN OUR SUFFOLK BASED WORKSHOPS, AND ALL COMPONENTS ARE SOURCED FROM UK BASED SUPPLIERS.
New for 2009 is the recently developed RST sound attenuated canopy. This canopy is matched to the Iveco engine and Caprari pump to ensure the correct air flow and cooling facilities. This new canopy incorporates the pump and exhaust to further reduce the nuisance noise created by the pumpset. This new canopy covers the entire tank and therefore gives extra security. The fuel filler is also located inside the canopy.
